Wife stabs husband to death in Tanzania

Muleba. A resident of Ikuza Islet in Bukoba District, Masele Kalakiza, 40, has allegedly been stabbed to death by his wife in a crime of passion.
During the incident another person, Ms Levina Gaspar, 38, was seriously injured.
Speaking to The Citizen on Monday, September 24, Ikuza councillor Fortnatus Matha said the incident took place at 10:30pm of Sunday, September 23, at a pub on the islet.
Ikuza Village chairman Lucas Kiberiti said Kalakiza bled profusely before death.
Police are holding the suspect.
Kisenyi Dispensary clinical officer in charge Martin Lujimya said the injured woman was responding well to treatment.
