Bishop calls on Tanzanians to maintain peace

Dar es Salaam. Bishop Alex Malasusa of the Eastern and Coastal Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) has urged Christians to maintain peace and tranquility.

He said they should not get tired of preaching peace and hope.

Preaching to hundreds of worshippers during the Easter service at the Azania Front Cathedral in Dar es Salaam Bishop Malasusa told Christians it was their duty to maintain peace and tranquility in the country.

“Christians have every reason to be agents of peace. You should be the beacons of hope in the society and not the source of discouragement. Let us send our Easter massage to others that God is alive” Bishop Malasusa said.
