Dar es Salaam. Qatar Airways said yesterday that it will continue flying between Doha and Tanzania as it seeks to play an increasingly important role in growing tourism globally.

Speaking during an event to mark 10 years of the airline’s operations in Tanzania, Group Chief Executive Mr Akbar Ali Baker said so far, the going has been good.

“Since we started ten years ago, the business has been good and that was why we reached a point of expanding to Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar,” he said.
