Tanzania's gold export earnings up by $100m

What you need to know:

  • According to the Bank of Tanzania (BoT) monthly economic review for April, exports earnings from gold increased by $100 million (about Sh223 billion) during the year ended March 2019, compared with the year ended in March, 2018.
