Highest paid actors in the world revealed

American business magazine Forbes has released the list of the highest-paid actors in 2023, with Adam Sandler topping the chart with over $97 million in gross income from just last year.

According to Forbes, Sandler took the top spot due to his lucrative partnership with Netflix. Since striking a groundbreaking deal with the streaming service in 2014, which initially amounted to $250 million for four films, Sandler has consistently produced and starred in successful movies exclusively for Netflix.

“The majority of his back catalog of comedies is now licensed to the platform as well. In the first six months of 2023 alone, Netflix subscribers spent more than 500 million hours watching Sandler’s movies,” Forbes stated in part.
