More than 1,500 farmers in Morogoro Region have benefited from digital financial services offered by Mixx by Yas, including warehouse receipt payments and access to affordable loans through the platform.
Speaking at the ongoing Nanenane Agricultural Exhibition in Morogoro, Mixx by Yas Commercial Manager for Coast North, Anwar Kisesa, said the initiative has enabled farmers growing sesame, cashew nuts, pigeon peas and cocoa to receive payments through a secure, fast and convenient digital platform.
He said Mixx by Yas continues to work closely with stakeholders in the agricultural sector to expand access to digital financial services, enabling more farmers to manage their finances efficiently while supporting economic growth in rural communities.
Kisesa also encouraged visitors to the Morogoro Nanenane Exhibition to purchase entrance and parking tickets through the Mixx Super App, saying the service reduces queues and provides a faster, more convenient way to access the exhibition grounds.
