What you need to know:

Mr Lissu was shot by unknown assailants on September 7 in the afternoon as he arrived at his residence in Dodoma.

Dar es Salaam. Chadema Youth Wing (Bavicha) will lead national prayers on Sunday for Singida East, Member of Parliament Tundu Lissu who is hospitalized at Nairobi Hospital in neighbouring Kenya.
Mr Lissu was shot by unknown assailants on September 7 in the afternoon as he arrived at his residence in Dodoma.
Bavicha vice chairperson Patrick Ole Sosopi said on September 15, that the Tanzania national prayers for Lissu would be held this coming Sunday at Sinza TIP grounds.
“So far we have written several letters to various religious groups to help lead the prayers for the MP," he said.
He noted that the prayers were not just for Lissu, but for all leaders across the country.
This, he added, would include praying for the “unknown assailants” to repent from the evil deeds of attacking innocent people.
