Dane accused of storing genitalia arrested in Lesotho before

The police alleged that Peter Frederiksen is wanted by Danish police for illegal dealing in firearms

Johannesburg (AFP). Police say the Danish man,Peter Frederiksen accused of storing female genitalia in his freezer in South Africa, was arrested in neighboring Lesotho earlier this year.

Lesotho police spokesman Senior Inspector Clifford Molefe said Wednesday the Frederiksen was arrested in June for assault. Molefe said the man's wife laid the charges. The police spokesman said the Frederiksen  was released on the same day because he fell ill.

Molefe said the man is yet to appear in a Lesotho court.

South African police arrested the 63-year-old last Thursday after they found 21 pieces of female genitalia in his freezer. He has been charged with sexual assault and remains in custody until his court appearance on Monday.
