Musoma. The fire department here in collaboration with the police force have managed to control a fire that broke out at the Musoma main market around nine o’clock last night.
The Regional Police Commander, Ramadhani Ng’anzi told The Citizen that the fire started in a mattress shop, causing chaos among traders at the market.
He said the police together with the wananchi managed to contain the fire whose source is yet to be established. The RPC could not immediately reveal the extent of the damage caused by the fire which originated from Ahmed Rafiq’s shop.
