Leading Chinese company plans to invest in Tanzania

Dar es Salaam. A renowned Chinese technology company, Shanghai Sixunited Technology Company Limited, has made a decision to invest in Tanzania.

This was revealed by the company’s regional manager for business development, Ms Theresia Mwita, during the launch of a new products for Acer Gadget (e10) in Dar es Salaam at the weekend.

“Our investment will go hand in hand with the increase in the job market for Tanzanians, where they will do business with us while we facilitate work in various sectors,” she said.

The company produces a range of products like this Acer Gadget (e10), which has a wide range of applications. “It is used in the education sector, business, and others,” said Ms Mwita.

According to Theresia, since its establishment in 2015 in Shanghai, China, Sixunited has been providing a one-stop solution services for consumers’ electronics and intelligent software products.

The products include laptops, tablets, mini PCs, AIOs, PC peripherals, servers, IoT, industrial control, and others.

"Our specialization lies in manufacturing and operational services of intelligent software and hardware products, alongside various other electronics," she elaborated.

Their product range includes laptops, tablets, mini PCs, AIOs, PC peripherals, servers, IoT, industrial controls, and more.

She said their commitment to global technological innovation and digital transformation.

"Currently, Sixunited employs over 1,100 people, with more than 60 percent dedicated to research and development, industrial economics, sales, and service," she added.
