Loliondo dispute report in PM Majaliwa’s desk

Dodoma. A special committee tasked with probing  land feuds between indigenous communities and investors at the Loliondo Game Reserve has submitted its report to the Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa, deputy minister for Natural Resources and Tourism Mr Ramo Makani on Friday told the Parliament.

Mr Makani noted that, on December 2016, during his tour of Ngorongoro district, Prime Minister Majaliwa issue directives on how best to end fracases over land uses in the area.

He was responding to a question by Special Seats MP Catherine Magige (CCM) who wanted to know when the government will settle land feuds at Loliondo Game Reserve.

Mr Makani, added: “The report is now at the Prime Minister’s table and when he is done with analyzing it  , he will decide on the best wayforward,” he said.
