Dar es Salaam. Rosemary Nyerere one of Tanzania's first president' s seven children has died in Dar es Salaam, the family has confirmed.
One of the family members who identified herself as Sophia Nyerere wrote on her instagram page saying that her aunt had died.
Her statement was later confirmed by Manyerere Jacton who said their relative had passed on without mentioning thebcause of death.
"It is true our sister has died but an official statement will be issued later by the family," he said.
