President Magufuli visits his mother and other patients at a Dar hospital

The President saw his mother after finishing Sunday prayers and held prayers for her and all the other patients. He also thanked the hospital personnel for their unwavering support to her mother and patients countrywide.

Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli today, December 30, 2018, paid a special visit to his hospitalised mother, Suzana Magufuli, and pray for her quick recovery. The President’s mother has been diagnosed as sufferring from diabetes type-2, and is receiving treatment at a hospital in the city.

According to a statement released by the State House’s Directorate of Communications, President Magufuli paid the visit soon after finishing Sunday prayers at the St. Peter’s Church in Oyster Bay, Dar es Salaam.

The President led prayers for his mother and for the other patients who have been hospitalized for various ailments. In the event, the President wished them all a Happy New Year and quick recovery.

Mr Magufuli also took the opportunity to thank the nurses and other hospital staff who are attending to his mother and other patients across the country, encouraging them to continue to serve the nation unwaveringly.
