Restaurant empowers the ministry of culture with generous donation

Dar es Salaam. 1245 Lounge and Restaurant, a prominent establishment renowned for its fine dining and entertainment experiences, has demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of culture, Arts and Sports by donating laptops to the Artists’ loan board of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Sports.
The official handover ceremony took place at the Ministry’s offices, symbolizing a significant step toward enhancing digital resources for sports, cultural and artistic endeavors.
Sniper Mantana, Director of 1245 Lounge and Restaurant, handed over the laptops to the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma, in a ceremony that underscores the importance of public-private partnerships for the betterment of the society.
“We are delighted to extend our full support to President Samia Suluhu Hassan and the Tanzanian government’s dedicated efforts in advancing the growth and prosperity of Tanzania’s culture, arts and sports through the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Sports."
He added: The creative and cultural industries are essential components of our society, and we believe that access to technology is crucial for their growth. We are committed to collaborating closely with the government for the bettement of the Tanzanian society and we hope that these laptops will help enhance the Ministry's ability to advance its mission and positively impact lives.
In response to the generous donation, Deputy Minister, Hamis Mwinjuma expressed his gratitude, saying: "We appreciate 1245 Lounge and Restaurant for their significant contribution. This donation of laptops will undoubtedly bolster our efforts to promote culture, arts, and sports within Tanzania. We believe it will facilitate our work, especially in connecting with artists, cultural institutions, and the youth.
