According to the shortlist released Tuesday, only African who plays for Manchester City, Yaya Toure, has featured in the list while England’s giant Manchester United has no player named for the prestigious award.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi are among the 23 players shortlisted for 2015 Fifa Player of the Year famously known as Ballon d'Or.
According to the shortlist released Tuesday, only African who plays for Manchester City, Yaya Toure, has featured in the list while England’s giant Manchester United has no player named for the prestigious award.
However, English clubs managers Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho are among of coaches nominated for World Coach of the Year.
Apart from Wenger and Mourinho, other managers in the list are Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus), Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Laurent Blanc (PSG), Unai Emery (Sevilla).
Others are Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich), Luis Enrique (Barcelona), Jose Mourinho (Chelsea), Jorge Sampaoli (Chile), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid), Arsene Wenger (Arsenal).
