Dodoma. The Government has successfully brought about a practical agricultural revolution through low-interest loans and the empowerment of small and medium-scale farmers via the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB).
This was stated today, August 01, 2025 at the Nane Nane grounds in Dodoma by the Managing Director of TADB, Mr Frank Nyabundege, during a briefing to the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr Philip Mpango, who visited the bank's pavilion ahead of the official opening of the national exhibition.
"More than 1.95 million farmers have realised their dreams through TADB, with over Sh1.13 trillion disbursed since 2015 as transformation capital for Tanzanian agriculture," Nyabundege emphasised.
Explaining further, Mr Nyabundege said that TADB is not just a bank—it is a pillar of hope, an engine of production, and a bridge to development for Tanzanian farmers.
Additionally, the bank is the main sponsor of the National Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition, which was officially opened today August 01, 2025 by the Vice President, Dr Philip Mpango.
Coinciding with the exhibition, TADB is celebrating 10 years of achievements since its establishment. The bank is now among the largest in the country and has played a pivotal role in enabling the agricultural sector to contribute significantly to national development.
