Dar es Salaam. Tanzanian professional boxers have bragged to emerge victorious against their foreign opponents during the Super Dome Boxing Night tomorrow at the new Super Dome Arena in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking yesterday, Nasibu Ramadhani, who will fight Toto Helebe from South Africa, said he has prepared well enough ahead of the featherweight non-title fight and his target is to knock him out.

Ramadhan said he knows that Helebe has come for victory, expressing, however, that the latter has ‘lost’ the way because he has targeted to beat him in the early rounds.

“I am well prepared, I am asking Tanzanians to come to support me in the fight. I promise I will not let them down,” said Ramadhani, who will fight in the main card. Apart from Ramadan, another boxer Shaaban Jongo has also promised to outshine his Ugandan opponent Musa Ntege in the East Africa- Africa Boxing Union (ABU) Cruiserweight fight.

If Jongo wins the fight, he will have the opportunity to feature in the African championship against Nigerian professional boxer Olanweragu Doradola as well as included in the World Boxing Council (WBC) rankings.

Other Tanzanians boxers Fadhili Majiha and Hamis Palasungulu have bragged to win their fights against foreign rivals. Majiha will fight Ghanaian Manyo Plange while Hamis Palasungulu will exchange blows with Nigerian Solomon Adebayo in the heavy weight bout.

Also, Tanzanian boxer Salehe Kassim promised to beat Ghanaian Patrick Aryee while Mohamed Pesa said he will not let Tanzania down against Nigerian Tope Tajdeen. Also, Paul Kamatha will face Lemi Madeje in the middleweight bout and lady boxer Sarafina Julius Bella will fight Sara Alex in the flyweight bout.

LP Sport Chief Executive Officer Levis Paul said preparations for the fights are completed and they expect to have exciting fights.

“All the boxers have already arrived ahead of the Super Dome Boxing Night and we call upon professional boxing fans to attend the event and support our boxers,” said Paul.
