Dar es Salaam. Kenice Furniture and Transport limited has announced its plan to support and develop pool table games in the country.
Speaking yesterday, Kenice Furniture and Transport limited manager John Masaki said that they hope to stage various pool competitions before the end of this year and next year including the national championship.
Masaki said that currently the game is losing its popularity due to the fact that there is no sponsor to make it alive. He explained that their firm is dealing in the supply of pool tables, pool accessories, hardware and art materials and become the number one game stakeholder. “We want to see the game attaining the highest standard again and make our pool table players feature in international competitions, we are not ready to see the game lose its popularity as we are a leading firm in manufacturing pool tables in the country,” said Masaki.
