Butiama resident wins SportPesa Bajaj RE

Dar es Salaam. A betting company in the country, SportPesa Tanzania, has handed over a Bajaj RE to the winner, Julius Olimo, who resides in Butiama, Mara Region.

Olimo who is a teacher at Kukilango Secondary School has won the top prize in the ongoing promotion known as Shinda Zaidi na SportPesa that will see 100 lucky winners driving home their tricycles at the end of this year.

“I congratulate SportPesa Tanzania for running the draw which aims to empower Tanzanians; my dream has come true because I was betting with SportPesa purposely to win a Bajaj. I know many people are participating in the draw in order to win, it is a lucky game and I am the luckiest man,” said Olimo.

Olimo said that he would use the money he was going to generate so to help support school fees for his younger brothers. “I expect to generate money through my Bajaj and part of it will be for paying school fees, I will also establish an investment to increase my income to tackle other family necessities,” he said.

SportPesa Tanzania Public Relations Manager, Sabrina Msuya said they were happy to see their promotion, which commenced in September, this year, doing well as many Tanzanians had been winning tricycles.

Sabrina noted that they would expect many football lovers to win top prizes at the end of this year when the promotion would stop.

She said so far 66 Tanzanians have won Bajaj RE in the ongoing promotion.

The winners are from Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Mwanza, Kigoma, Bukoba, Mara, Songwe, Mbeya, Arusha and other regions in Tanzania mainland.
