Dar es Salaam. Stephane Aziz KI’s early red card threatened to derail Young Africans’ (Yanga) title defence today, September 15, 2026, but the champions showed remarkable resilience to beat Geita Gold 1-0 and maintain their perfect start to the Mainland Premier League season.
Aziz KI was sent off in the 18th minute after a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review, leaving Yanga to play the remaining 72 minutes with 10 men at the KMC Complex.
