TFF unveils aspirants for poll

Kalilo Samson will contest the executive committee membership for zone number one, which encompasses Geita and Kagera while Jumbe Odessa Magati, Mugisha Galibona, Samwel Nyalla and Vedastus Lufano will vie for zone number 2 comprising Mara and Mwanza regions.
Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) election committee has announced the final list of 42 candidates who will vie for various posts on October 27.
It also has announced four candidates who will compete in the Tanzania Premier League (TPL-Board) election on October 25 in the city.
The committee also has axed Shaffii Dauda who was seeking the post of the executive committee member for zone 13 (Dar es Salaam) because he lacks experience of five years in football matters.
In the TFF posts, the election committee has endorsed Athuman Nyamlani and Jamal Malinzi to contest the post of president and Wallace Karia, Imani Omari Madega and Ramadhan Nassib will contest the post of vice president.

Also on the list with their zones in brackets are Epaphra Swai and Mbasha Matutu (Zone 3; Shinyanga and Simiyu), Ali Mtumwa, Elley Simon Mbise and Omar Walii Ali (Zone 4 ; Arusha and Manyara), Ahmed Idd Mgoyi and Yusuf Hamis Kitumbo (Zone 5; Kigoma andTabora) and Ayubu Nyaulingo and Blassy Mghube Kiondo for zone six comprising Katavi and Rukwa regions.
Others are Ayoub Shaibu Nyenzi, David Samson Lugenge, John Exavery Kiteve, Lusekelo Elias Mwanjala (zone 7; Iringa and Mbeya), James Mhagama and Stanley William Lugenge (Zone 8; Njombe and Ruvuma), Athuman Kambi, Francis Kumba Ndulane and Zafarani Mzee Damoder (Zone 9; Lindi and Mtwara), Hussein Zuberi Mwamba, Stewart Ernest Masima, Charles Komba (Zone 10; Dodoma and Singida), Farid Nahdi, Geofrey Nyange, Juma Abbas Pinto, Riziki Juma Majala) and Twahil Twaha Njoki (Zone 11; Morogoro and Coast Region).
There are also Davis Mosha, Khalid Abdallah Mohamed (Zone 12; Kilimanjaro andTanga), Alex Kamuzelya, Kidao Wilfred Mzigama, Muhsin Said Balhabou and Omary Isack Abdulkadir who will seek to be elected as members of the executive committee for zone number 13 which is Dar es Salaam.
TFF election committee chairman Hamidu Mbwezeleni named the candidates for the TPL-Board as Hamad Yahya Juma of Mtibwa Sugar who will contest the chairmanship and Said Muhammad Said Abeid of Azam Football Club who will compete for the vice chairmanship.
Candidates for the TPL-Board operation committee members are Kazimoto Miraji Muzo (Pamba) and Omary Khatibu Mwindadi (Mwadui).
Mbwezeleni said the candidates are allowed to campaign until one day before the election date.
