Textile company suspends 600 workers after fire

       The Fire and Rescue Brigade department says they are investigating the cause of the fire.

                Morogoro. The 21st Century textile has temporarily laid off 600 employees production came to a halt after a fire destroyed the factory building.

Giving an assessment report of the incident, the Industry Production Manager, Mr Clement Munisi, said some of the employees who were laid off will be re-employed when operations start.
