US company to launch mobile App for fun lovers in Dar

Dar es Salaam.  A US-based entertainment company, Klobaa, will launch a mobile App in Dar es Salaam tomorrow, to guide fun lovers to various entertainment destinations in the city.

The App aims to connect night club lovers and tourists who would wish to visit lounges, bars, restaurants and events happening in the city at a particular moment.

Klobaa Executive Director, Mr Perrycurtis Elechi, told a news conference today that the App will be launched at Posta Kijitonyama in Kinondoni District during an event dubbed, ‘MwendoKasi Festiva.”

“In addition to this App, we will be putting together a few initiatives to empower Tanzanian Youth,’’ said Me Elechi, a Nigerian national.

“We intend to take this connection with African culture, art, tourism and entertainment, including the Africans in the diaspora,’’ he noted.

The idea behind the initiatives, he said, would be to provide educational assistance to the less privileged students in the society.

Mr Elechi was accompanied by local Artisles, the Navy Kenzo group who are the local ambassadors for the Klobaa Company.

Speaking to reporters, the Navy Kenzo artisle, Haika Maleale noted thattomorrow’s MwendoKasi Festival will be coloured by most of the popular artists in Tanzania, such as Ali Kiba, Christian Bella, Juma Nature and Nay Wa Mitego.
