Dar es Salaam. One person has died and more than 45 others injured after a UDA bus crashed into a train at Kariakoo on Tuesday night.
Speaking via phone to Mwananchi Digital, Ilala acting regional police commander Ernest Matiku confirmed the accident. He said that the commuter bus was headed to Mbagala.
Acting RPC said the accident was caused by the recklessness of the UDA driver while crossing the railway line at Kariakoo. He said the injured passengers were rushed to Muhimbili National Hospital for treatment.
