Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has urged all mainland premier league clubs to use this year's U-17 Airtel Rising Stars competitions to scout players for their second string squads, U-20 teams.
The call was made by TFF Secretary General, Mwesigwa Celestine during the official tournament kits handover held at the body officers today.
Mwesigwa said currently, Airtel Tanzania Raising Stars scouted players form about 50 percent of the National U-17 soccer team. He said teams have to avoid buying mature players and use resources to scout for young players instead.
