Former NSSF boss hands over office to Erio

Before this post, Prof Kahyarara was a senior don at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). He had replaced Ramadhani Dau who had served the social security fund for 15 years.
Former National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Director General Prof Godius Kahyarara has today handed over office to the newly appointed Director General William Erio. The handing over took place today at the NSSF headquarters.
Erio became the new DG effective July 14, this year after President John Magufuli appointed him to take Kahyarara’s position. Kahyarara had held the position since 2016. His appointment was revoked on grounds that a new assignment would be given to him. Before his appointment, Erio was the Director General of the Parastatal Pensions Fund (PPF).
