Dar es Salaam. The latest versions of Samsung’s Galaxy S series phones (Galaxy S5) are now available in the country.
This comes after Samsung Electronics Tanzania, joined the rest of the world on Friday, to officially unveil the fifth generation of the Galaxy S series phones.
The phone, according to Mobile and IT Division country manager for Samsung Electronics Tanzania, Mr Kishor Kumar, offers consumers a refined experience through innovation of essential features that aid in day-to-day activities.
“This product offers a direct impact on the lifestyles of our customers….it contains features that focus on delivering the ultimate smart phone in the market today,” he said.
The phone has added biometrics security features and improved camera quality, fast network connectivity, dedicated fitness tools and enhanced device protection, among other features.
It boasts a sleek new curved design with a large screen, a metallic frame, a wide range of modern colours, and finishing choices which reflect the current styles and trends worldwide.
The phone, according to Mr Kumar, has features that provide a crystal clear display at a lower power consumption thus allowing the consumer to experience the gallery, camera, internet, video and other smart remote apps with a display specially adapted to them.
With a 16 megapixel camera, the new Galaxy S5 offers superior camera functionality with an enhanced menu and user interface that allow consumers to effortlessly take, edit and share photos.
