Tunzaa Fintech launches platform that develops positive financial habits in young people

Tunzaa is a Tanzanian fintech startup that uses technology to transform financial habits of consumers and connects businesses to buyers.
Dar es Salaam. Tunzaa has on Tuesday April 20, announced the launch of its new platform to develop positive financial habits among young Tanzanians through mobile applications technology.
Speaking at the launch Jasmine Lupatu said Tunzaa is designed to facilitate payments of goods and services in small amounts of money at the user’s own pace directly from their mobile money wallets makes it easy for young people to achieve their goals and plans.
“Think of a fully paid trip to Zanzibar with someone you care about, now we give you a tool to get you to that goal by paying slowly for the holiday at your own speed with Tunzaa apps”, said Jasmine Lupatu.
She said Tunzaa gives users the ability to track every money they put aside for a specific goal such as buying a brand new smart TV, or the most latest iPhone/Samsung Galaxy or travel in real time.
“Users on Tunzaa have access to goods and services from home appliances, recreational tours, TVs, Washing Machines, Fridges, Smartphones, computers and others giving users a convenient way of paying for services and products and tracking their expenses,” she said.
Apart from that Tunzaa rewards users with points that can be claimed in malls, restaurants or other businesses designed to encourage positive saving habits.
Speaking to journalists, the founder of Tunzaa Fintech, Ng’winula Kingamkono added that the journey with Tunzaa app is nothing like any other that they have undertaken before.
“With Tunzaa we are hands on and we are making sure we are meeting the right market needs and we’ve been busy building Tunzaa quietly for the past few months having iterated somewhat five live prototypes of the same product so far.”
An invite-only product for now, Tunzaa is inviting a limited number of users to learn behaviors and to improve user experience and interested people can sign up for early access to a beta version of Tunzaa
