Tanga. Tanga Cement has partnered with Vodacom Tanzania to create a platform that will enable their customers to pay for Simba cement using mobile money services for free.
Tanga Cement managing director Reinhardt Swart hopes the agreement will improve safety, efficiency, enhance its competitive advantage and reduce time taken to effect transactions. “Efficient distribution is crucial for our growth,” he said.
Vodacom Tanzania’s chief officer for enterprise business unit, Mr Gregory Verbond, said the services would be available to all distributors, wholesalers and retailers of Simba Cement across the country.
