Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Asian Development Association (Tada) is heightening civic education to Tanzanians of Asian origin in a move to make them fully participate in the voting day.
Chairman of Tada, Mr Shabir Abji told The Citizen yesterday in Dar es Salaam that they are making efforts to ensure that their members turn out in big numbers on 25th October to exercise their democratic right.
“Turning out in big numbers is to follow the words of the founder of this nation Julius Nyerere; that in order to get true development, participation is a must,” he said.

TADA was formed as an apex body to bring, the seven different faiths based, Tanzanian Asian Community under one roof, not only to preserve the common heritage but also to address social responsibility to serve the Communities and the nation at large.
