CCM top organs set to meet in Dar

A press statement signed by party’s Ideology and Publicity Secretary Mr Humphrey Polepole issued on Sunday, September 24, revealed that the meetings will take place in Dar es Salaam from September 27 to October 1.
Dar es Salaam. Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) is expected to convene the Central Committee (CC) and the National Executive Council (NEC) meetings at the end of this month.
A press statement signed by party’s Ideology and Publicity Secretary Mr Humphrey Polepole issued on Sunday, September 24, revealed that the meetings will take place in Dar es Salaam from September 27 to October 1.
“Information is hereby issued that the CC will convene its meetings on September 27 and September 28. The CC meeting will be followed by the NEC meetings in September 30 and October 1, respectively,” reads part of a statement.
Mr Polepole said these are ordinary meetings convened in accordance with the party calendar, during which several activities will take place including making final nomination of party members contesting for leadership within the party at the districts level.
