Coca-Cola Kwanza Empowers Zanzibar Women Food Vendors

Unguja. Calling all ambitious women food vendors in Unguja and Pemba! Coca-Cola Kwanza, in partnership with the Zanzibar Economic Empowerment Agency (ZEEA), Zanzibar Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), and Oryx Gas Tanzania, has launched the Mwanamke Shujaa programme, offering an exciting opportunity to grow your business and develop valuable skills.
This initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs in the food industry by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. Participants will receive:
Training and mentorship: Gain expertise in key areas like bookkeeping, customer care, stress management, and capital growth, supported by ZEEA.
Business essentials: Receive a gas stove, gas cylinder, cooler, crate of soft drinks, kitchen clothing, and a table to enhance your operations.
Building on a strong foundation: Last year, Coca-Cola Kwanza's Mwanamke Shujaa programme successfully empowered 1,700 women, highlighting their commitment to creating lasting change.
Salum Nassor, Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Director at Coca-Cola Kwanza, emphasized the company's dedication to shared prosperity: "Our goal is to create greater opportunities for both our business and the communities we serve.
