Special investigation conducted by the Controller and Auditor General reveals how billions of shillings were lost
A total of Sh47 billion deposited with BoT for the purpose of paying road contractors is either missing or cannot be accounted for, with a further Sh33 billion set aside for road projects in the 2011/2012 financial year also missing, according to CAG.
