Magufuli appoints former DPP Dr Feleshi new principal judge

A statement issued on on Sunday June 3, by the directorate of presidential communications, Mr Gerson Msigwa says Dr Feleshi replaced Judge Ferdinand Wambali, who was recently appointed the Court of Appeal Judge.
Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli has appointed Dr Eliezer Feleshi the new Principal Judge of the High Court of Tanzania.
A statement issued on on Sunday June 3, by the directorate of presidential communications, Mr Gerson Msigwa says Dr Feleshi replaced Judge Ferdinand Wambali, who was recently appointed the Court of Appeal Judge.
Before the appointment, Dr Feleshi served as the High Court judge. Mr Feleshi also served as the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
According to the statement, Dr Feleshi and the newly appointed Court of Appeal Judge, Mr Ferdinand Wambali and Ms Mwanaisha Kwariko will be sworn in at the State House tomorrow.
He was among 20 High Court judges named on August 13, 2014 evening in the new appointments made by former President Jakaya Kikwete.
