President sends his condolences following the death of Songea legislator

Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli has sent his condolences to the speaker of the National Assembly, Job Ndugai, following the death of Songea Urban Member of Parliament Mr Leonidas Gama.

The President also sent his condolences to the family of the deceased.

Mr Gama passed away on Thursday, November 23, at around 10 PM, at Peramiho Hospital, where he was admitted shortly after he collapsed.

“I have been shocked by the sudden death of Mr Gama…My feelings is with the deceased family,” the President was quoted in a statement sent to the media by the director of President’s Communication, Mr Gerson Msigwa.
