Samia names Prof Janabi's successor at Muhimbili National Hospital

Dar es Salaam. The Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) has a new Executive Director. She is Dr Delilah Charles Kimambo.

A State House statement, released on Monday by the Chief Secretary, Dr Moses Kusiluka said President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Dr Kimambo to head the MNH.

Dr Kimambo replaces Prof Mohamed  Janabi who was recently elected the Africa Regional Director for the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to the statement, retired High Court Judge Hamisa  Kalombola has been reappointed as the Chairperson of the Public Service Commission for a second term.

The President has also reappointed Mr Paul  Sang’awey to continue serving as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Self Microfinance Fund (SELF) for another term.

Meanwhile, High Court Judge Rose Ebrahim becomes the new Chairperson for the Fair Competition Tribunal (FCT).

On the diplomatic side, Ambassador Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk has been posted to represent Tanzania in Italy.
