Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) has appointed Ms. Jacqueline Woiso as a Non-Executive Director, effective from January 10, 2025.
The appointment comes as part of the company’s continued efforts to strengthen its leadership team and further drive its growth agenda.
Ms Woiso, an accomplished business leader with over 20 years of experience, brings a wealth of expertise in strategic leadership, corporate finance, and governance. Her career spans multinational and local organisations in various sectors, including banking and broadcasting.
Currently, she serves as the Managing Director of MultiChoice Tanzania, a role she has held since November 2018.
Her leadership journey includes senior executive roles such as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, where she developed a deep understanding of business transformation and policy formulation.
Before her work with MultiChoice, Ms. Woiso had an extensive career in banking, having worked with leading institutions such as Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Bank, and Bank M in Tanzania. She has built a solid reputation for driving corporate growth, resource management, and public relations.
In addition to her executive roles, Ms. Woiso is an experienced board member with over a decade of involvement in the governance of public and private institutions across several sectors, including banking, health, education, culture, and tourism.
Ms. Woiso holds an MBA from Milpark Business School in South Africa, an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the Institute of Development Management, Mzumbe, and is a Certified Director from the Institute of Directors Tanzania.
She is also a member of The Boardroom Africa, further demonstrating her dedication to leadership and governance excellence.
