Dar es Salaam.A traffic police officer identified by only one name, Mensa was shot dead while on duty at Sayansi in Kijitonyama, Dar es Salaam.
Confirming the death of the officer, Kinondoni Regional police Commander Christopher Fuime said the incident occurred at around 8 pm and the reason behind the killing has not yet been established.
“We will know yet the reason behind the killing once investigations are complete, for now let the police carry out its work and out find who exactly is behind the fatal shooting,” the RPC said.
