Singida Black Stars will play their first Kagame Cup match against Jamus SC on Saturday at Kigali Pele Stadium
Dar es Salaam. Singida Black Stars have bolstered their squad ahead of the upcoming season by signing Super Eagles defender Benjamin Tanimu on a two-year contract.
The Tanzanian Premier League side confirmed the arrival of the Nigerian international as part of its preparations for the new domestic campaign, the Cecafa Kagame Cup and the Caf Confederation Cup. The club is determined to compete strongly on both the regional and continental stages after an impressive campaign last season.
Tanimu arrives in Singida following spells with English club Crawley Town and Moroccan side Maghreb de Fès, bringing valuable international experience and defensive quality to a team looking to challenge for major honours.
