Jamhuri fade in Dar league as on-song Nia Njema surge

Jamuhuri responded strongly after conceding the goal, but their efforts didn’t pay off as Barnabas came into the picture again to double Nia Njema’s lead in the 10th minute. Still fighting, Jamuhuri narrowed the deficit a few minutes later when Nasri Seleman connected home a Julius Peter cross. Nia Njema were leading 2-1at half time. The second half saw Nia Njema coming strongly again. Banarbas and Nassoro came close several times as they pressed upfront relentlessly in search of more goals.

They fluffed two clear chances in the 11th and 15th minutes, the culprits being Nassoro and Banarbas.

In the 16th minute, Banarbas redeemed himself when he scored the third goal for his team after he was set up by Nassoro.

He scored two more goals in the 16th and 17th minutes before Nassor hit the final pin on Jamhuri’s coffin a few seconds later.
