China's Huawei fires employee arrested in Poland: state-run media

Beijing. Chinese telecom giant Huawei has fired a Chinese employee who was arrested in Poland over espionage allegations, a state-run newspaper said Saturday.
Wang Weijing, a Poland-based staffer, was "immediately" sacked because "this incident created harmful effects on Huawei's global reputation," the firm said in a statement cited by the Global Times. (AFP)
