SABMiller awards subsidiary for quality beer production

Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL) Group plants have won international awards for producing quality diverse products, the company announced yesterday.

The factories, located in Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza and Arusha, received the awards from SABMiller Africa in South Africa at the weekend.

The TBL Group is a subsidiary of SABMiller. Safari Lager brand – which is manufactured at TBL Group’s plants in Dar es Salaam and Arusha — was also named as Champion beer during the event. Group technical director Gavin van Wijk hailed the plant management for scooping the awards
