What made you want to start writing?
I love helping other people in their career, business, personal development and entrepreneurship issues. It excites me to see my help having a positive impact on someone’s life.
What do you find to be the hardest thing about writing?
I don’t see any difficultly in writing because it is my passion and I don’t feel like am a slave to writing, though sometimes I encounter some challenges along the way.
As a young author is it hard to get attention from readers?
Yes, for me it was hard it was hard especially to people who are above my age, but that didn’t stop me from writing even though some of my readers used to disagree with what I was writing about. I committed myself to write more, provide free service such as doing mentoring, coaching, producing YouTube videos and podcasts as part of my branding strategies. Lucky enough now I get their attention and even provide business coaching to some of them.
How do you think your writing can change the society?
My writings have great contribution in our society and I’m sure a lot of changes in our will happen because the contents in my books provide solutions to problems surrounding us.
What do you wish you knew before you started writing your books?
To be honest, I wish I could have known sooner on how much the world needed my writings and the ideas presented within. The impact I see that’s a direct result of my writings is something I didn’t expect when I first started. This is a call to other people who are always wishing to be authors to know that the world is waiting for them; they should get out of their comfort zone and start writing no matter what.
How do you balance between writing and your social life?
I have a time table that helps me plan well how I spend my time. I value time so much so I always make sure a minute doesn’t pass by without doing something productive.
Which book inspired you to begin writing?
I remember when I was in
secondary school at St. Carolus Secondary School I read a book called “WatotoWa Mama Ntilie” by E. Mbogo, that was the moment I started thinking of writing my own book.
But at that time I was not so passionate until the time I read other books titled “Jinsi Ya Kutoka Kwenye Umasikini Hadi Mafanikio” by Erick Shigongo and “100
Ways To Motivate Others” by Steve Chandler.
Tell us about your writing style, how is it different from other writers?
My writing style is based on the truth, the truth for solving people’s problems, the truth to free someone from things which hinder him/her to achieve his/her dream.
How often do you aim to send a specific message through your book and get 100 per cent success?
I always aim to speak directly to people by looking keenly at what they want to know about or to solve in their life and put it in my books. That’s why when you ask people who got a chance to read my books they will tell you how my books transformed their lives.
Now when you look back at your past, do you feel accomplished?
To where I’m now, Yes, I have accomplished a lot but I’m not yet satisfied with these steps because I believe there are more valuable things to give out than what I have so far given.
Have you already achieved the level of success you wanted to achieve at this level?
Yes I have, because I see the result and the fulfillment I get from what I’m doing. It gives me great joy to see people excel in life as a result of the content I’m able to publish in my writings. I’m looking forward to continuing helping people out.
