Dar es Salaam. Minister for Industry and Trade Judith Kapinga has commended CRDB Bank for its continued role as a key development partner in supporting entrepreneurs across the country.
Minister Kapinga delivered the remarks during the Kitchen Party Gala 2026 on April 26, 2026, an event sponsored by CRDB Bank.
“Our society needs stable and assured economic progress in order to address poverty and other challenges. To achieve this, we need the participation of everyone,” said Minister Kapinga.
She congratulated CRDB Bank and other sponsors for ensuring the success of this year’s event, stressing that women remain a strong foundation for family prosperity.
During the event held yesterday, the bank provided financial education and presented capital growth opportunities for young and small-scale entrepreneurs, an initiative aimed at strengthening financial capacity, improving business operations and increasing market competitiveness.
Head of the Small and Medium Enterprises Unit at CRDB Bank Agness Kisinini said women with stable income earned through legitimate means form a strong pillar of the family.
“Our CRDB Bank has accounts and other financial products specifically designed for hardworking women like all of you present in this hall. I urge you to use our services throughout your economic journey,” said Ms Kisinini.
CRDB Bank’s participation in the platform is intended to strengthen financial inclusion by reaching entrepreneurs in innovative and emerging sectors, increasing awareness of financial services that support the growth of small and medium enterprises, and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the business sector.
Ms Kisinini also emphasised the importance of financial discipline, proper investment decisions and the use of formal financial services as essential tools for long-term entrepreneurial success.
CRDB Bank said platforms such as the Kitchen Party Gala are not only an opportunity to showcase creativity, but also an important bridge that equips entrepreneurs with knowledge, networks and resources required to expand their businesses and contribute to the national economy.
