Last witness in economic sabotage case presents evidence in Serengeti court

Serengeti. The Serengeti District Resident Magistrate’s court today Friday, August 10,is proceeding with hearing of evidence from the last witness in an economic sabotage case facing ten suspects.

The case is being heard by Magistrate Ismael Ngaleand public prosecutor Emmanuel Zumba.

The suspects of the economic sabotage case Number 69/2018 are Juma Nyamasari, 44, Walter Nyadero, 55,Kyaro Maro, 30,Hamisi Shadrack, 35, and Nyaisa Nyaisa, 38.

Others are Andrew Ndego, 22, Matiko Msamba, 48, Raphael Nyadero, 21, Juma Mwita, 45, and Fredy Ndego, 28. All are residents of Nyamatoke Village in Serengeti District.

The accused are facing five counts after being found with 531pieces of wild meat worth Sh66 million,24 wildebeest tails and 10 zebra tails.

Others are 75 animal traps, 10 bicycles, one knife and a machete.
