Before the confirmation Mr Msigwa was Acting Director of Presidential Communication the position which he served since November 2015.

Dar es Salaam. President John Magufuli has confirmed Mr Gerson Msigwa as the Director of Presidential communications.

According to a statement released to the media by Acting presidential reporter Mr Jaffar Haniu his appointment is effective from today.
