Three people confirmed dead after aircraft crashes in Tanzania's Selous

Dar es Salaam.  The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has confirmed the deaths of three people who were aboard a Frankfurt Zoological Society aircraft, Cessina 182 with registration number 5H-FZS from Matambwe airstrip in Selous.

Four people were aboard the ill-fated aircraft, which crashed immediately after takeoff from the airstrip.

Among those dead is the pilot.

The cause of the accident is still unknown. However, an investigation team has been dispatched to the scene of the accident.
