Z’bar situation is okay, 2nd VP tells Magufuli

Dar es Salaam. Zanzibar Second Vice President Seif Ali Idd yesterday reassured President John Magufuli that all is well in the Isles.

Mr Idd told President Magufuli when he paid him a courtesy call at State House, Dar es Salaam, that Zanzibaris were peacefully waiting for the Zanzibar Electoral Commission (ZEC) to announce the date for repeat elections. The Directorate of Presidential Communications said in a statement that Mr Idd visited Dr Magufuli to brief him on the situation in Zanzibar.
