Tanzania Investment Centre to train small entrepreneurs in Dar

·Speaking on Monday during a press conference, TIC executive director Geoffrey Mwambe said a six –day training which brings together 35 entrepreneurs, will kick off on June 26, this year here in the city.

Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) in collaboration with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has prepared a special training for capacity building among small entrepreneurs.

Speaking on Monday during a press conference, TIC executive director Geoffrey Mwambe said a six –day training which brings together 35 entrepreneurs, will kick off on June 26, this year here in the city.

“The aim of the trainings is to enhance the sustainability of small entrepreneurs in the face of production of high quantity and quality products,” noted Mr Mwambe.

 He said the move would possibly create a strong link between small entrepreneurs and large scale firms by the former supplying products or services to the later.

The trainings were also meant to link small entrepreneurs to financial institutions, business experts and marketing for them to be imparted with skills for improvement of their products and services.
