London. The British Tanzania Society – BTS- welcomed newly appointed Tanzanian High Commissioner Dr Asha Rose Migiro and her British counterpart heading for Dar es Salaam, Ms Sarah Cooke.
Outgoing British Ambassador Dianna Melrose and her predecessor, Mr Philip Parham were invited in a ceremony held on Thursday.
Hosting the two hour ceremony at London’s School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS), was Birmingham University lecturer, Dr Andrew Coulson , who on a behalf of BTS highlighted the fact that it was a positive day for women in high, respected, government and diplomatic positions.
